Internet Lodge will meet in London on the 7th and 8th August 2015. We offer a relaxed and informal gathering on Friday evening, a truly stimulating meeting on Saturday afternoon, and a tranquil cruise on the River Thames on Saturday evening The lodge meeting will be held in Freemasons Hall in Great Queen Street, London. The main item for the lodge meeting is a presentation entiled "Welcome to the World of Tomorrow" by members of the Connaught Club The Worshipful Master is a member of the Connaught Club which has been established for younger masons to get together to better understand their craft and to not feel overwhelmed by the number of more senior members in their respective lodges. The members are are all under 35 and are very active in Craft Masonry. For example, the Connaught Club’s own lodge, Burgoyne no. 902 recently hosted an unofficial delivery of this year’s Prestonian Lecture by W.Bro. Dr. Paul R. Calderwood. The title of the lecture was “As we were seen: Freemasonry and the Press.” Burgoyne Lodge # 902 was saved from going into darkness by becoming a focal point for younger masons to get a better idea of their craft workings. The purpose of bringing Internet Lodge to UGLE Headquarters is to attract young masons to join us for a Saturday Afternoon meeting. The officers of Internet Lodge will also give a collaborative presentation entitled "Internet Lodge Innovations for the 21st Century". There are three recommended hotels which are :- (cheapest first)
