Absence of the Grand Master from Grand Lodge

In the event of the Grand Master's absence during a Grand Lodge meeting, leadership is assumed by the Pro Grand Master. If the Pro Grand Master is also unavailable, the Deputy Grand Master takes over. Should both be absent, the responsibility falls to an Assistant Grand Master, or if none are present, to the highest-ranking member of the Grand Lodge according to the table of precedence outlined in Rule 5. This hierarchy ensures that the Grand Lodge continues to function smoothly and maintains order during meetings, emphasizing the importance of established protocols for leadership succession.
