Motions for the erasure of a Lodge or the expulsion of a Brother require that the Master and Wardens of the Lodge, or the Brother involved, be summoned to respond to the complaint. This summons must occur in person at the Grand Lodge or allow for a written response, depending on the preference of the individuals concerned. This procedure ensures that all parties have the opportunity to present their case before any disciplinary action is taken. The document emphasizes the importance of due process in Masonic disciplinary matters, ensuring fairness and transparency in handling misconduct allegations. Adhering to this protocol is essential for maintaining the integrity of the Lodge and the Masonic community.
