A Lodge may seek to hold a meeting at a different location if the regular meeting place is impracticable or undesirable. The Master must promptly request a dispensation from the Grand Master or the appropriate Metropolitan, Provincial, or District Grand Master to convene at the specified alternative location. If the new location falls outside the Lodge's usual jurisdiction, the Master must obtain dispensations from all relevant authorities. This process ensures that Lodges can continue their operations while adhering to Masonic regulations and maintaining proper communication with governing bodies. Compliance with these procedures is essential for the legitimacy of the meeting and the continuity of Lodge activities.
