Fees are payable to the Fund of General Purposes for various registrations and services, including the appointment of Grand Officers, Deputy or Assistant Metropolitan and Provincial Grand Masters, and Masons joining or being exalted in different Lodge types. Fees for the replacement or amendment of Grand Lodge Certificates, certificates for Serving Brothers, and dispensations by the Grand Master are also included. The amounts are determined annually by Grand Lodge resolution in June. Additionally, fees for Patents, Warrants, and related documents are published in the Board of General Purposes’ Report in March, effective from April 1. Notably, dues and contributions are reduced by 50% for Brothers under 25, impacting both their Lodge subscriptions and fees under Rule 270. This reduction does not affect the assessment of equal subscription privileges among Lodge members as outlined in Rule 145.
