On Sunday 11th August there is an early morning excursion to ascend on the railway to the summit of Snowdon commencing at 8.30am and returning at midday. £24 per head return fare from Llanberis Station to the summit. There is the excellent National Slate Museum Workshops and Quarry Exhibit across the road from the Snowdon Railway which is FREE and a good trip in its own right. (Cafés and gift shops, illustrated talks)
