The lodge conducts an election for Senior Warden for the 2014/15 term following the current Junior Warden's decision to step back. Ben Allen wins the election among five candidates and is expected to be appointed by the Worshipful Master, with a view to ascending to the Master's chair for 2015/16. Ben, the first initiate of the Internet lodge and son of a member, plans to host meetings in Manchester, Newcastle, and London during his term. His theme for the year, "Future proofing," emphasizes the importance of adapting Freemasonry to remain relevant while honoring its history. He aims to facilitate discussions and talks on this topic to encourage broader engagement within the fraternity. Additionally, an election for Junior Warden for 2014/15 is scheduled for September 2013.

Following the decision of our current Junior Warden that he did not wish to progress further in the lodge at the present time the lodge recently held an election for Senior Warden 2014/15. There were 5 candidates for the position and the winning applicant in a very close election was Ben Allen. We expect therefore that Ben will be appointed Senior Warden 2014/15 by the then Worshipful Master and will be elected to the Master's chair for 2015/16. Ben was the first initiate into Internet lodge of which his father is also a member and we are delighted that he has made such progress. During 2015/16 Ben hopes to host meetings in Manchester, Newcastle and London. Explaining his theme for the year Ben said :- "Future proofing is a fairly horrible phrase, but it accurately describes a concept whereby somethingis able to stay relevant to the future also adapt to the changes that the passing of time may bring. I think that it is vitalt hat we preserve the practise of Freemasonry into the future and in order to that we must consider our history and use that to plan how we move into the future; not just in our use of technology  every Freemason’s everyday experience in the wider world. That will be my theme through the year, and I hope to arrange talks and discussions that will lead to a wider debate on this subject." An election for Junior Warden for 2014/15 will take place in September 2013.
