Internet Lodge: Modernizing Our Purpose and Aims Our Original Purpose and Its Evolution Internet Lodge No. 9659 was founded with a pioneering purpose: to leverage the internet to bring Freemasons together across geographical boundaries. We aimed to provide a home for Brethren who, due to distance, professional duties, or physical limitations, couldn't regularly attend a traditional Lodge. This original mission remains central to our identity, but we have expanded it to meet the needs of the 21st century.
Our Aims for the Current Century Our aims have evolved to focus on a few key areas that blend traditional Masonic values with modern-day opportunities.
Enriching Our Masonic Experience: We are committed to fostering a vibrant and intellectually stimulating environment. This includes facilitating engaging discussions and collaborative projects among Brothers worldwide. We publish papers and articles from our members, contributing to the rich body of Masonic knowledge.
Building a Connected Community: We provide a platform for Freemasons to build strong, personal bonds in a secure and trusted digital environment. Through our weekly online meetings and private forums, we create a sense of community that extends beyond our three annual physical meetings.

We fulfill our obligations by holding three physical meetings each year, including the Installation of our Master, and hosting lectures from prominent Freemasons.
