Internet Lodge 9659 offers a structured application process for Master Masons wishing to join. The journey begins with an initial inquiry, followed by connection with a Lodge Ambassador who assists with the application. Applicants must complete a Lodge Application Form and pay a £50 joining fee, providing necessary documents such as Clearance Certificates or Good Standing Certificates. The application is then submitted to the United Grand Lodge of England (UGLE) for vetting, with a 14-day window to complete the online form. Following successful vetting, the application is balloted at the next Lodge meetings. Upon acceptance, the UGLE registration fee of £126 and the first year's annual subscription of £120 are due. Members must uphold Masonic values, including belief in a Supreme Being, and adhere to guidelines prohibiting political and religious discussions in Lodge. Data protection measures are in place for the information provided during the application process.

Step
Action & Detail
Your journey begins with your initial enquiry. Simply express your interest, and we'll take it from there.
We will connect you with a dedicated Lodge Ambassador. Their role is to personally welcome you, discuss your Masonic history, and ensure that our Lodge is the right fit for your Masonic journey.
Once you and your Ambassador are satisfied, you'll be assisted in completing our Lodge Application Form and paying the £50 Joining Fee.
Crucial Information: At this stage, you must have all your necessary documents ready for upload (Clearance Certificates, Dues Cards, or Certificates of Good Standing from your previous/existing Grand Lodges).
Our Membership Secretary will review and confirm your application details. You will then receive an email with a secure link to complete the official UGLE Application via the modern Hermes website. Your Ambassador will be listed as your Proposer.
You have 14 days to complete the UGLE online form. Once submitted, UGLE will conduct its vetting process.
Upon successful completion of the UGLE vetting: Your application will be Proposed at our next Regular Lodge meeting. It will be Balloted (voted upon) at the following Regular meeting.
Once the ballot is successful and we receive final confirmation from UGLE, your Fees for the first year become immediately due for payment.
You are now a fully-fledged member! You will be provided with a link to the UGLE Book of Constitutions, and we look forward to welcoming you to our next meeting.
