The document outlines the general powers granted to any Brother who presides or acts in place of an absent Officer within the Masonic structure, including the Grand Lodge, Metropolitan, Provincial, District Grand Lodges, or private Lodges. While fulfilling this role, the acting Brother possesses all rights, powers, and duties equivalent to the Officer he substitutes. This authority includes the enforcement of rules and regulations, ensuring that the acts performed by the substitute carry the same validity as those of the original Officer, unless explicitly stated otherwise in the governing laws and regulations. This provision emphasizes the continuity of leadership and decision-making within Masonic bodies, reinforcing the importance of maintaining order and adherence to established protocols during the absence of designated Officers.
