Royal Arch Regulation 17

Regulation 17 establishes that all Grand Officers within the Royal Arch must hold the title of First Principal or be a Past First Principal of a Chapter. This requirement ensures that only individuals with significant experience and leadership within the Royal Arch are appointed to these important positions. If a Grand Lodge Officer, who is eligible to serve in the Grand Chapter by virtue of their Grand Lodge position, does not meet the First Principal qualification, the First Grand Principal is responsible for appointing and investing another qualified Companion to fulfill the office. This regulation emphasizes the importance of leadership continuity and experience within the Royal Arch, thereby maintaining the integrity and effectiveness of its governance.
