Regulation 52 addresses the appointment of a Companion as First Principal in multiple Royal Arch Chapters concurrently. It stipulates that no Companion may serve as First Principal for more than one Chapter simultaneously unless they obtain a dispensation. This dispensation must be granted by the First Grand Principal for Chapters outside the same Metropolitan Area, Province, or District. If the Chapters are located within the same Metropolitan Area, Province, or District, the dispensation must come from the Metropolitan Grand Superintendent or the Grand Superintendent.
