Possibly the most famous writer in the English language, It is an ideal venue for you to extend your stay and explore the town and the surrounding area. Here is a useful guide to what there is to see and do in Stratford. Warwick another tourist area is just a few miles away.

Of course indivdual arrangements can be made if you are unable to spend the entire weekend or if you wish to extend your stay. Booking arrangements and costs will be provided nearer the time. Programme Friday 9th October 2020 There will be an Internet Chapter meeting. The venue is yet to be finalised. We hope to meet at Guy's Cliffe an interesting relic dating back to the 5th century but failing that we will meet in Warwick. There will be a practice at 10.00 a.m. or 11.00 a.m. (dependent on content of meeting) Chapter will open at 12.00 noon followed by a light buffet (soup and sandwiches, tea or coffee) - optional. In the evening we will have our usual Friday get together renewing friendships and making new ones. This will be in the Ettington Chase hotel where your choice from the hotel restaurant wil be served.in a private room. Saturday 10th October 2020 The Lodge will meet at Alderson House23 High StreetWarwickWarwickshireCV34 4AX The subject of the meeting will be a demonstration of the examination of a candidate and his initiation as practised by the National Grand Lodge of Romania. Much to the relief of the majority of our membership the demonstration will be in English There willl be a practice at 11:00 a.m. A light buffet will be available at Noon and lodge will tyle at 1.00 p.m. In the evening we will have an informal "Sorry to Part" dinner at the hotel. Sunday 11th October 2020 After breakfast why not take the opportunity to explore for a couple of hours or have a lazy Sunday morning beforeenjoying our "Happy to Eat Again" carvery luncheon at the hotel after which we part and look forward to 2021
